The U.S. Mission in Nigeria strengthens diplomatic ties between the United States and Nigeria. The Assistant CLO Coordinator role falls under the Community Liaison Office (CLO), which works to enhance the morale and well-being of the American community in Nigeria.
About the Position
As the Assistant CLO Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the CLO Coordinator in managing all aspects of the CLO program. This includes:
Identifying the needs of the American community in Nigeria
Developing and implementing programs and resources to address those needs
Advocating for American employees and family members
Managing communications and outreach efforts
Planning and executing community events
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:
A minimum of two years of college or university studies.
At least three years of professional experience in administration, office management, customer service, program management, or public policy.
A strong understanding of the U.S. Foreign Service and the U.S. federal government.
Knowledge of program management principles and experience with program monitoring.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. Department of State programs related to community support, crisis management, employment, education, and more.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong data collection and report writing skills.
