This fully-funded program will allocate $36,000 in venture development stipends among selected Western Union Foundation Fellowship Fellows based on their progression and impact throughout the Fellowship.

Support Offered to the Fellows:
1. Training and Skill Development: Engage in training sessions and interactive modules led by subject-matter experts covering various domains such as Sales, Data & Metrics, Business Foundations, and Funding.
2. Mentorship & Community: Interact with renowned entrepreneurs, industry experts, global alumni, and local partners to receive mentorship, guidance, and support throughout the program.
3. Pitch Coaching: Gain the opportunity to present at a prominent pitch event at the conclusion of the program to a global audience comprising employees, mentors, alumni, and partners.
4. Venture Development Stipend: A total of $36,000 in venture development stipends will be disbursed among selected Western Union Foundation Fellows based on their progression and impact during the Fellowship.
Eligibility for the Western Union Foundation Fellowship for Leaders and Entrepreneurs
To qualify:
- You must be an entrepreneur or community leader collaborating with highly marginalized, refugee, and forcibly displaced communities worldwide.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a growth mindset, and a drive to emerge as an effective leader within your community. Ideal venture stages for this fellowship are Problem-Solution Fit or Product-Market Fit phases, with engaged customers or beneficiaries, and demonstrated outcomes in impact and revenue.
- Commit to the 16-week program, including a 2-week virtual immersive experience. Preference is given to individuals fully committed to actively participating in the entire program, as its success hinges on the enthusiastic engagement and involvement of all participants, eager to learn and share.
- Applicants must be situated in or creating an impact in the following locations: United States, Uganda, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuania, Japan, Philippines, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Brazil.
- Preference will be accorded to applicants from Uganda, Colombia, Mexico, Pakistan, and the United States.
