Opportunity Title: Call for Resumes – USAID/Nigeria Agriculture Program 2024


**About the Job:**

DAI, a prominent global consulting firm headquartered in the United States, is currently seeking applications from candidates for technical and managerial positions, both long- and short-term, for the anticipated Agriculture Value Chains Activity in Nigeria. This initiative is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The primary goal of this forthcoming activity is to fortify Nigeria's agriculture and food system, fostering inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led growth.

We are looking for professionals with seven (7) or more years of experience in the following areas of expertise, for both long- and short-term positions. Nigerian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Market systems development
- Agriculture value chains (e.g., rice, maize, and/or horticulture)
- Climate resilient agriculture
- Agri-tech
- Food security
- Private sector engagement/development
- Gender, youth, and social inclusion
- Monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting
- Strategic communications/outreach
- Grants development and management
- USAID project finance, operations, human resources, and contract administration

**Qualifications:**

- Degree from an accredited university in a relevant or related field (e.g., economics, agriculture, natural resources, international development, international relations). An advanced degree (master’s or higher) is preferred.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in the area of expertise.
- Five (5) or more years of progressive management and leadership experience for managerial positions.
- Experience in Nigeria is preferred.
- Experience with international donor-funded programs, particularly USAID.
- Strong communication skills—both written and oral—in English.
