The Agribusiness Innovation Challenge, a partnership between the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and the Nigeria Climate Innovation Center (NCIC), is currently accepting applications from agritech startups in Nigeria. The challenge seeks innovative solutions to improve food supply chain challenges, with a focus on supply chain traceability, last-mile distribution networks, climate smart financing, agricultural productivity and efficiency, and post-harvest loss management.
The challenge aims to attract agritech startups with solutions to improve Nigeria's food supply chain, ensuring food safety and quality, and healthier diets for all. Eligible applicants must be women and youth-led startups (aged 18-35) with registered businesses in Nigeria. Shortlisted startups will receive technical assistance, mentorship, and a chance to win an equity-free grant of ₦20,000,000.
The program offers a comprehensive support system, including a Pitch Readiness BootCamp, Technical Assistance Programme, Deal Day, Demo Day, and Mentorship Community. This support will enable startups to refine their solutions, scale their operations, and access new markets.
