About the Grant

The Ernest Solvay Fund provides financial backing for initiatives spanning three key areas:

STEM Education: Encompassing Science (particularly chemistry, physics, and earth sciences), Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, with a focus on digital education.
Scientific Advancement: Excluding medical and pharmaceutical fields.
Sustainable Development: Addressing climate change, resource management, and the circular economy.
In autumn, the Fund’s Management Committee convenes to select initiatives aligned with its objectives.

The results of this call's selection will be announced on November 20th, 2024.

Support: Up to €10,000

Eligibility

Any non-commercial organization implementing a project that fosters and promotes:

The advancement of scientific and technological (STEM) education/studies among youth.
Engagement in scientific research and environmental stewardship.
Scientific and technological entrepreneurship.
Applications for scholarships or fellowships within doctoral or post-doctoral research frameworks are ineligible. Congresses are eligible provided they engage young individuals for educational purposes.

All projects must operate in countries where Solvay is active.
