Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer Intern with a strong interest and passion for design and development of engaging user experiences for consumers on web and mobile. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a willingness to get her/his hands dirty and can dedicate 10-20 hours per week.

This 3-month internship opportunity seeks to help the intern build their profile working for an Europe-based startup, gain work experience and make an impact by becoming part of an innovative product.

Requirements

• Support the user experience and interaction design across Bukable’s web and mobile devices
• An eye for creating elegant, easy-to-use interfaces for applications with a rich and complex set of features
• Design and produce user interfaces and interaction design specifications using participatory and iterative design techniques including stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and other forms of discovery
• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale
• Strong knowledge of interaction design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web & mobile products
• Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables

Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role
• Currently enrolled in the university, or recent graduate
• Experience with design and prototyping tools and design (including Photoshop, illustrator)
•  An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating past work and relevant experience
• Must have a good command of English to at least B2 level
