The Royal Society of Biology is hosting a photography competition with the theme "Transforming Life", open to amateur photographers worldwide. The competition is accepting entries from March 14th to June 20th, 2024.

Competition Themes:

• Ecosystem dynamics and biodiversity

• Humans transforming life

• Scientific innovation in the biosciences

Prizes:

• Photographer of the Year (18 and over): £1,000

• Young Photographer of the Year (under 18): £500

Eligibility:

• Open to amateur photographers who earn less than 50% of their annual income through photography

• Participants can be from the UK or outside the UK
