Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Intern to join our dynamic Project team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in networking and IT project management.

The ideal candidate will assist in various projects, contribute to the optimization of our client satisfaction, and support the project management team in ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Assistance: Support the IT project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring IT networking projects.
  • Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve network-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Customer Support: Assist in attending to clients inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and project progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to support cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on emerging networking technologies and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of our projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network configuration and maintenance (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Certification in networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) is a plus.
