Job Title: Customer Service Agent at ModSquad (Remote, Nigeria)

ModSquad has been reinventing the customer experience services industry since 2007. Their clients are not small operations. They are top-tier global brands — Spotify, VSCO, Vimeo, Tourism Ireland, and dozens of companies they cannot publicly name. These brands need skilled, English-speaking customer support professionals available around the clock, and they are actively hiring in Nigeria right now.

The Customer Service Agent role at ModSquad is one of the most genuinely accessible remote positions open to Nigerians in September 2026. It is entry level. It is part-time. It requires no previous experience in the tech industry. What it requires is a reliable laptop, a stable internet connection, strong written English, and a customer-first attitude that makes people feel helped rather than handled.

What You Will Do

As a ModSquad Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out to one of ModSquad's global brand clients. Your primary channel is ticket support — written customer queries that you will read carefully, investigate where necessary, and resolve with accuracy and empathy. You will represent the client's voice and values in every response. You will follow established workflows, escalate issues that fall outside your scope, and maintain a response quality that meets ModSquad's high standards for their enterprise clients.

This is not a call centre role. The work is written, which means it suits Nigerians who communicate best through clear, well-structured text. ModSquad specifically highlights candidates who are fast learners, quick to adapt, unafraid to speak up with insights, and able to navigate complexity without freezing.

What the Schedule Looks Like

Agents self-schedule 20 hours per week, with 7 of those 20 hours required on weekends — Saturday and/or Sunday — within a required time slot. The flexibility is real. You organise your own schedule within the parameters, which makes this role compatible with studies, other work, or family commitments. Jobs Region

What ModSquad Requires

A dedicated laptop or desktop computer running Windows 10 or above. A reliable internet connection. Strong written English communication. The willingness to install ModSquad's security software and enable two-factor authentication on both your computer and mobile device. A customer-friendly demeanour and genuine problem-solving instinct.

No formal degree is required. No previous tech company experience is required. What ModSquad hires for is attitude, reliability, and communication quality.

Why This Role Is Worth Your Attention

ModSquad supports over 50 languages in more than 90 countries. Working as a contractor with them places you inside a global customer experience ecosystem, exposes you to how enterprise brands manage customer relationships at scale, and gives you a verifiable track record with a company whose client list includes household names. That experience travels. A year on your CV supporting a Spotify or Vimeo-tier brand opens conversations that a generic customer service role simply does not.

Bankable Wisdom Tip: ModSquad hires for quality of thought, not speed of response. Before you apply, write three sample customer support replies to common product problems in a tool or app you use daily. Read them back out loud. If they sound natural, precise, and genuinely helpful — you are ready. If they sound robotic or vague, revise them until they do not. That exercise is exactly the muscle ModSquad needs you to have.
