Structure

Teach for Nigeria is looking for people who demonstrate leadership potential during their application. As a result, you’ll be asked to write three essays describing your leadership experience, motivation, and your long-term goals.

This requires you to reflect on your past experiences and future goals. Describe your personal achievements over the years and share your career aspirations.

We want to know how the fellowship will propel you to your desired career path. We advise you to use the STAR approach (situation, task, action, and result) to write the application essays.

Be sure to share your volunteering and job experiences, but never lie or exaggerate your achievements. If you do, you’ll be caught out during the selection process.
