NBA Africa's Triple Double Accelerator program is dedicated to nurturing African startups and entrepreneurs within the sports and creative industries. Through mentorship and capital injection, this initiative aims to propel the growth of these startups and contribute to the advancement of African economies.

**Criteria:**
- Operations based in Africa
- Product alignment with one of the five Sports and Creative startup categories
- Proven demand for product or service demonstrated by a strong customer base or revenue
- Demonstrable impact and relevance to the broader African continent

**Win Prizes:**
1st Place: $50,000 cash + $50,000 value-in-kind
2nd Place: $40,000 cash + $40,000 value-in-kind
3rd Place: $30,000 cash + $30,000 value-in-kind
4th Place: $20,000 cash + $20,000 value-in-kind

**Application Process:**
**Step 1 - Written Application**
Deadline: May 22, 2024
Founders complete the online application (approximately 60 minutes).
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis; early applications encouraged.

**Step 2 - One-way Video Interview**
Deadline: May 31, 2024
Selected startups invited for a one-way video interview.
Video submissions should not exceed 5 minutes.

**Step 3 - Selection Process**
June 6, 2024
Judges evaluate submissions and select top startups for the program.
All applicants notified of their application status on June 6.

**Step 4 - Mentorship**
June – August 2024
Accelerator program includes mentorship, workshops, and pitch practice for Demo Day in September.
Required time commitment: 4 hours per week, excluding Demo Day.

**Step 5 - Demo Day**
September 2024
Participating startups pitch to global industry leaders in New York for a chance to win prizes.
