Opportunity Title: Applications are now open for the 2024 Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy Fellowship Programme.

The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy aims to cultivate skills, awareness, and a nuanced perspective among young Nigerians to address challenges across various sectors, including the public domain.

Participants will gain firsthand experience in the governance process at the state government level. They will engage in roundtable discussions with distinguished leaders from both the public and private sectors and partake in domestic and international policy trips.

**Eligibility Requirements:**
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Age between 25 – 35 years old
- Hold a minimum of an HND or Bachelor's degree
- Possess an NYSC certificate or an exemption certificate

**Benefits:**
- The Fellowship is a paid program, with accommodation provided in a tastefully furnished apartment.
- Participants will receive competitive remuneration and accommodation throughout the fellowship. They will also receive direct mentorship from Mr. Governor and members of the Lagos State Executive Council through quarterly ministerial rotations.
- Fellows will serve as Special Assistants to Mr. Governor, shadow cabinet members, and participate in high-level meetings. They will also engage in one-on-one coaching with industry experts, fostering holistic growth and preparation for future success.
- Continuous multi-source feedback on leadership skills and performance will be provided.
- Fellows will be exposed to an innovative and dynamic learning curriculum through public and private sector engagements.
- Access to intimate interactive sessions with renowned world leaders and participation in local and international policy trips will be facilitated.

**Time Commitment:**
The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy offers a rigorous fellowship program requiring full-time engagement. Absolute commitment throughout the program duration is essential, and participants are prohibited from receiving remuneration from alternative sources.

- Stage 3: Essay – Critical thinking and written communication
- Stage 4: Competency-based interview
