Cardinal Torch Company is seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer and Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in graphic design, video editing, and social media management, playing a crucial role in driving our business growth and success through various business development and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Create visually stunning graphics for digital and print platforms.
• Develop and refine design elements to ensure consistency across all materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to translate concepts into compelling visual content.

Content Creation

• Generate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Produce multimedia content, including images, infographics, and videos.
• Tailor content to suit different channels and audience preferences.

Video Editing

• Edit and enhance video content to produce polished materials.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to elevate video appeal.
• Stay updated on video editing trends and tools.

Social Media Management

• Manage and curate social media content calendars.
• Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into the content strategy.
• Engage with the audience and respond to comments and messages.

Brand Consistency

• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive visual identity.

Business Support

• Provide operational support, including monitoring business plans and reporting on milestones.
• Update and collate documentation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and frameworks.
• Conduct basic research and analysis to support informed decision-making.
• Assist in implementing business plans and achieving agreed outcomes.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on status and implementation issues.
• Provide secretarial and administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers.
• Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Analyze market data to assess competitive landscapes and provide insights.
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Support the cultivation and maintenance of client relationships through effective communication.
• Manage client databases and track interactions.
• Contribute to lead generation activities and target potential clients.
• Provide administrative support, schedule meetings, coordinate events, and manage calendars.
• Ensure accurate documentation of business activities.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to streamline communication.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in business support.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer/Content Creator.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software).
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Power BI and Excel).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
