The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is the world's largest free trade area, uniting the 55 countries of the African Union (AU) and eight (8) Regional Economic Communities (RECs).
The AfCFTA is a flagship project of Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want, the AU's long-term strategy to transform the continent into a global powerhouse.
The African Union AfCFTA Internship Program aims to bring highly qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the Secretariat to work on projects aligned with the Secretariat's strategic orientations and support its corporate functions.
The program's primary goal is to equip successful candidates with enhanced analytical and technical skills in an international setting.
The AfCFTA seeks students with adequate knowledge and skills in relevant fields to serve as interns for a specified period, gaining practical experience and international exposure.
