United Nations University Management Scholarship 2025 in the Netherlands (Migration Management Diploma Programme)
Applications are now open for the 2025 United Nations University Management Scholarship. The Migration Management Diploma Programme (MMDP) is a capacity-building programme offered by UNU-MERIT since 2013.
The United Nations University in Netherlands is inviting applications for the 2025 Migration Management Diploma Programme.
The MMDP is a capacity building programme funded by the European Union (EU) through the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
The programme is addressed to government officials and civil servants who are working in migration management in the EU Southern Neighbourhood, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and Silk Route countries.
This full-time three-month programme uses various teaching and evaluation methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.
The United Nations University Management Scholarship covers all the costs of the programme, including travel to the Netherlands, accommodation during the programme, tuition fees, and course materials.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Migration Management Diploma Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Hold a minimum Bachelor’s university degree.
Applicants must be confident in computer skills to follow an education programme.
Work as government officials in the field of migration and/or asylum in one of the eligible countries.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must provide evidence that they have been working in the government of an eligible country in the field of migration and asylum.
Participants must obtain support from their employers in the form of a letter from the employer stating that the participant will remain a paid employee of their government throughout the duration of the programme and will continue to receive their salary as per their contractual agreement.

Program Structure of the Migration Management Diploma Program

Each course lasts four weeks and covers a range of modules related to the course topic, including for example:
