The Jerry Eze Foundation Business Grant is designed to support eligible entrepreneurs and micro and small businesses operating in Nigeria. The Foundation gives preference to businesses in agriculture and agribusiness, manufacturing, technology and digital services, while businesses in other sectors may apply if they show strong social or economic impact.
Who may be eligible?
The published criteria include Nigerian citizens or legal residents aged 18 or older, a registered business, at least six months of operations and a valid business bank account in the business name. The published annual turnover cap is ₦10 million. Applicants must explain why funding is needed and how it will be used.
Documents to prepare
The Foundation lists a valid means of identification, CV, six months of bank statements, CAC registration evidence, a business budget, photographs of the business premises or equipment, a passport photograph and two reference letters. Check the official criteria for the precise reference requirements and any declaration needed during appraisal.
Is the grant open now?
The official application page lists 10 March 2026 as the deadline, so that cycle has passed. No confirmed next-cycle opening date was available on the official page reviewed on 18 October 2026. January 2027 may be a useful preparation target, but it should not be treated as an announced opening.
Use the time before the next round to organise your financial records, document business activity and make your funding request specific. Never pay an unofficial agent who promises guaranteed selection.
